AUSA 2024: Quantum-Systems targets big 2025 with UAS developments
Quantum-Systems has been upgrading its UAS family, with new versions of the Vector, Reliant and Twister drones set for release throughout 2025.
UMS Skeldar is reassessing the R-350 rotary-wing VTOL programme as part of wider plans to concentrate on larger customer demand for its V-200 sister platform.
During the 2017 edition of the Dubai Airshow, the unmanned manufacturer had spoken to Shephard about holding R-350 Middle East flight demonstrations in 2018, but those never went ahead, primarily because ‘paying customers’ of the V-200 came forward in the interim, leaving the company to make R-350 adjustments.
‘It’s going to evolve into something else,’ David Willems, VP business development and strategy at UMS Skeldar, explained when asked about the R-350, but would not disclose
