Dubai 2015: GCC customers eye V200 UAV

Lebanese-based manufacturer SkyPro UAV have received interest from GCC customers for potential commercial applications for the V200 platform, which is currently in service with militaries in the Middle East and North Africa.

The lightweight hand-launched UAV has a battery-powered endurance of more than three hours and currently being marketed for infrastructure monitoring, aerial mapping, long range surveillance and security and SAR. 

The embedded EO/IR payload, slung underneath the fuselage, can be refitted depending on mission requirements.

A key marketing point for the V200 was in its relative cost compared to potential rivals it was pitting itself against.
