DSEI 2017: Wave Glider makes a splash

The latest iteration of the Liquid Robotics Wave Glider USV is now able to survive in demanding environments up to sea state six and greater, the company revealed at DSEI.

The new generation USV is able to support heavier payloads and has 40% more battery storage to extend its operational range.

While the system is being advertised at capable up to sea state six, the company said that it has been tested in sea state eight environments with waves up to 10m.

The new version would be suited to ASW applications as well as use by coast guards in areas
