DSA 2018: Turkish robots march into Malaysia

On 18 April, Aselsan signed a cooperation agreement with Malaysian firm DefTech at the DSA 2018 exhibition in Kuala Lumpur, with the focus on robotics and UGVs.

Signalling the intent of the two parties, Aselsan and DefTech jointly exhibited a SARP-UGV at DSA. This was the first time the system, a tracked vehicle featuring a SARP RWS mounting a machine gun, has been shown outside Turkey.
