Composites Technology Research Malaysia (CTRM), a subsidiary of DRB-Hicom Defence Technologies (Deftech) since 2013, is seeking to extend the range of its Aludra Mk5 UAV.

The Mk5, which has a 6.1m wingspan and maximum take-off weight of 200kg, currently has a six-hour endurance, but CTRM is trying to extend this to ten.
