DroneShield receives order for DroneGuns
DroneShield announced that it has received an order to deliver 70 DroneGun tactical jammer systems to the ministry of defence (MoD) of an unnamed Middle Eastern country.
The order was placed with DroneShield via the company’s distributor Zariba Security.
The order is subject to the approval from the US regulator overseeing defence exports. The company expects to receive approval, if granted, in next two months, using the US defence product sale approval process.
Oleg Vornik, CEO, DroneShield, said: ‘The MoD has one of the largest defence budgets in the world. We view this order as just a start of our relationship with the MoD and expect to receive substantial (and substantially larger) additional orders for this product and other products of the company for the MoD and for other ministries and agencies in-country and elsewhere in the region.’
