AUSA 2024: Quantum-Systems targets big 2025 with UAS developments
Quantum-Systems has been upgrading its UAS family, with new versions of the Vector, Reliant and Twister drones set for release throughout 2025.
DroneShield has been contracted to provide counter-UAS (C-UAS) protection for the 30th Southerneast Asian Games in the Philippines, the company announced on 18 November.
The company will provide a number of its C-UAS solutions for the games, which are expected to include 11 participating nations and approximately 9,000 athletes. The event is set to take place from 30 November 2019 to 11 December 2019.
Oleg Vornik, CEO, DroneShield, said: ‘Mass crowd events are a core market for DroneShield, with our prior deployments including the Olympics, the Commonwealth Games and ASEAN over the recent year alone.’
