Dronekiller proposed in South Korea

Last year South Korea discovered four crashed North Korean UAVs on its territory, and Uconsystem is proposing a novel approach to tackling future aerial incursions from North Korea.

The proposed design has been christened Dronekiller, and it is essentially a ‘kamikaze’ UAV that is directed to hit and bring down a hostile vehicle. It uses GPS guidance and the UAV can lock on and auto-track the target during the terminal attack phase. In addition, the operator wears virtual-reality goggles to monitor its flight.
