SUAS manufacturer DJI is reported to be seeking hundreds of millions of dollars in venture funding in a bid to achieve a valution of US$10 billion, a figure that would make it one of the most valuable start-ups in the world.

The Shenzhen-based company already has a 70% share of the global civilian market with its range of remote-controlled rotor craft. Although DJI is remaining silent on this report broken by Forbes about its funding, the company is apparently in advanced discussions with Silicon Valley firms amongst others regarding investment.
