DIMDEX 2016: Qatar signs Aerosonde deal

The Qatari Emiri Armed Forces signed an MoU with Textron Systems Unmanned System for an Aerosonde UAS system, valued at 54 million Qatari rials ($15 million).

Already in service with the US military, the Aerosonde UAS has a long history in both military and increasingly parapublic and commercial roles. Capable of 14 hours of endurance and 140km line of sight range, the system features day/night full motion video capabilities.
