DefExpo 2020: IAI cements UAV ties in India

IAI strengthened its hand with the Indian military by signing an MoU with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) and Dynamatic Technologies Limited (DTL) on 5 February, the opening day of DefExpo 2020.

The strategic collaboration MoU focuses on UAVs, leveraging IAI’s expertise and promoting Indian production under the ‘Make in India’ initiative.

All three services of the Indian military already operate UAVs produced by Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), including Heron 1s and Searcher Mk IIs.
