Aibotix conducted a live demonstration of its Airbot X6 UAV within one of the exhibition halls at Defence Services Asia (DSA) on 14 April.

Launched at hourly intervals throughout the first day of the event, the UAV demonstrated its VTOL capabilities while carrying a single-lens reflex (SLR) camera.

Company delegates at the show told Shephard that the platform has a 40-minute endurance and is capable of carrying a payload of 2.5kg.  The platform has been designed for civil applications in mind, including surveying of infrastructure.
