AUVSI: Northrop Grumman offers unmanned future vision

Northrop Grumman executives used the opening day of AUVSI’s Unmanned Systems North America 2010 to offer a corporate vision for the future of unmanned systems.

According to Gene Fraser, unmanned systems sector vice president for Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems, the future of unmanned systems will not be limited by any pacing items of technology.

Explaining his assertion with a brief historical perspective of unmanned systems, Fraser offered, 'If you look at the technologies that have evolved with the [unmanned] systems, they are the same technologies that have evolved along with manned platforms for the most part.'
