AUSA 2024: Quantum-Systems targets big 2025 with UAS developments
Quantum-Systems has been upgrading its UAS family, with new versions of the Vector, Reliant and Twister drones set for release throughout 2025.
A year to the day after Hirth Engines was acquired by UMS Skeldar, a move which secured the engine used by the latter company’s V-200 UAS, the aviation propulsion manufacturer revealed that it had embarked on an extensive consolidation effort among its portfolio.
Returning to AUVSI’s Xponential after a missing the event in 2018 due to the takeover, officials from Hirth said the company had spent the time since travelling to reassure customers in the manned and unmanned aviation sector clients that it remained ready for business.
