AUSA 2024: Quantum-Systems targets big 2025 with UAS developments
Quantum-Systems has been upgrading its UAS family, with new versions of the Vector, Reliant and Twister drones set for release throughout 2025.
Further to FAA approval, Kittyhawk and Jeppesen have announced that they are collaborating on a project to integrate digital airspace authorisation, the low altitude authorisation and notification capability, directly from the authority into Kittyhawk’s platform.
This year, the FAA will release more than 2,000 square miles of new airspace for UAS to enable operations in urbanised areas as well as in proximity to airports.
