AUVSI 2017: Autonomous sales steady for Northrop

Northrop Grumman reported a slight increase in sales of its autonomous systems in its first quarter financial results, released at the end of April 2017.

Despite this, the company said that overall its first quarter sales had increased by 13% but this was primarily due to a higher volume for manned aircraft programmes.

The results state that 'autonomous Systems sales increased slightly and reflect higher Triton volume and lower NATO Alliance Ground Surveillance volume'.
