AUVSI 2014: North Dakota law enforcement researches SUAS use

A project is underway in north east North Dakota to research the use of small UAS for law enforcement purposes, Alan Frazier, assistant professor for the department of aviation at the University of North Dakota (UND) revealed at AUVSI on 14 May.

A collaborative programme involving the UND, Grand Forks Country Sheriff Department, Aerovironment and Dragonfly Innovations is examining how to utilise and deploy SUAS in a law enforcement context.
