AUVSI 2014: Clear-Com announces improvements to Eclipse HX intercom system

9th May 2014 - 09:00 GMT | by Beth Maundrill in London

Clear-Com has announced two enhancements to its Eclipse HX digital matrix intercom at the AUVSI Unmanned Systems event in Orlando.

The first allows up to 64 matrix systems to intelligently trunk over Ethernet and IP connectors. This is enabled by the 32-channel IVC-32-HX IP card that works on lower bandwidth interfaces and offers automatic failover.

The second of the Eclipse HX improvements demonstrates the ability to support dual label and multi-language communication requirements on a single V-Series user control key panel.

All V-series panels will support the Arabic language and operators will have the ability to toggle between two pre-defined languages.
