AUSA 10: CC goes through design revolution

The new look unmanned systems Common Controller (CC), which is part of the US Army’s Brigade Combat Team Modernization programme, is being exhibited at this year’s AUSA Annual Meeting. The CC design has significantly changed as Lockheed Martin has developed the controller and responded to user feedback.

The CC has been developed to control both UGVs and small UAS from the same system. Currently it is expected to control both the iRobot SUGV and Class I UAS, which were both also spun out of the now defunct Future Combat Systems programme.
