AUSA 2024: Quantum-Systems targets big 2025 with UAS developments
Quantum-Systems has been upgrading its UAS family, with new versions of the Vector, Reliant and Twister drones set for release throughout 2025.
A TWO year project is about to start that will use Tekever’s AR5 Life Ray tactical UAV for maritime surveillance.
The project is called 'Rapsody' and has the support of the European Space Agency (ESA) and the European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA).
The AR5 Life Ray Evolution will be flown in two scenarios: for search and rescue missions;and to monitor pollution and oil spills.
Bond Air Services (UK) will fly the UAVs, while Tekever UK will manage and adapt the sensor platform.
DSI Information Technik (Germany) will oversee the security for the sensor data transmission.
