AirMap’s UTM system has been selected by the Air Navigation Service of the Czech Republic (ANS CR) to bring situational awareness and authorisation services to the Czech Republic’s growing UAS economy, the company announced on 2 August.
The selection is a part of ANS CR’s effort to establish a cost effective, long-term sustainable aviation navigation service for UAS operations in urban environments.

The cloud-based dashboard will allow Czech airspace managers to have a comprehensive view of their managed airspace, and configure, monitor and automate their management. To begin regulating flights and de-conflicting the airspace efficiently, managers will also be able to provide UAS operators with manual authorisations.
