Airshow China: Rise of the robots

It is generally unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) that attract the lion’s share of attention at Airshow China, this year held from 11-16 November. 

However, unmanned ground vehicles (UGV) from the China North Industries Corporation (NORINCO) were also in evidence this time as the state-owned conglomerate appeared at the exhibition for the first time.

The first was an innovative triad of systems – a six-wheeled carrier vehicle, a Sharp Claw 1 tracked UGV, and a small quadrotor UAV.
