Aeroart exploring small logistics UAS

French unmanned air system developer Aeroart is exploring potential development of a lightweight logistics air vehicle with two concepts now being market tested.

The proposed AVES multipurpose tactical UAS is baselined on a 2.6m flying wing with twin tail booms linked by a high mounted elevator.

The basic design would have a single combined engine and avionics module mounted above the wing driving a pusher propeller.

The payload bay would be in the form of an open frame ‘rack' located below and forward of the wing with an integrated tricycle undercarriage. The rack concept is intended to allow a ‘plug
