ADEX 2017: A Sea Sword to slay the enemy

The Sea Sword is a USV being developed by LIG Nex1 in South Korea. A scale model of the second-generation type was exhibited at Seoul ADEX 2017, whereas the actual first-generation craft will appear at the Kormarine 2017 expo in Busan next week.

The company began working on the USV in 2015, and the first 8m-long prototype is currently undergoing testing with the Republic of Korea Navy (ROKN). It is being developed through a combination of government and company funds.
