ADEX 2013: Northrop Grumman may be close to Korean Global Hawk sale

Northrop Grumman remains hopeful that South Korea will become the first export customer for the Global Hawk UAS.

South Korea has had an interest in the system to provide persistent surveillance for several years and has already been to the starting gate once on the purchase having received a formal FMS offer from the US government.

However, the length of time it took to get the offer meant that budgeting issues emerged, causing the South Korean government to allow the offer to expire.
