The UK’s Centre for Defence Enterprise (CDE), part of MOD’s Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (Dstl), is holding a ‘Marketplace event’ in London on 27 April 2016.
The event is to be opened by Philip Dunne MP, the UK minister for defence procurement.
CDE funds novel, high-risk, high-potential-benefit research. Based at Harwell in Oxfordshire, the organisation works with a range of science and technology providers, including academia and small companies, to develop cost-effective capabilities for UK armed forces and national security.
The aim of the event is to highlight innovations from some of CDE’s previous funding competitions to potential investors
