UDT Asia 2016: Image Soft showcases IS UNWAS
Image Soft, a company based in Helsinki, Finland, will use the UDT Asia 2016 exhibition and conference to launch an upgraded version of a comprehensive underwater surveillance system.
Known as the Image Soft Underwater Surveillance System (IS UNWAS), the product is a distributed, modular system that uses passive hydrophone arrays to detect underwater activity. It can be scaled up to monitor large areas.
IS UNWAS offers real-time detection and target positioning, target management and automatic alarms. The system can be used at separate sites though connected to surveillance centres, as well as a large distributed system.
