UDT 2016: MAPLE Phase 2 at Unmanned Warrior

BAE Systems will be demonstrating Phase 2 of their new unmanned systems command and control technology at the Unmanned Warrior exercises in October.

Designated the Maritime Autonomous Platform Exploitation (MAPLE), the system is a transportable command and control centre with the capability of integrating unmanned systems from multiple suppliers. MAPLE is an extension of the BAE Systems Combat Management System that is installed in all of the Royal Navy’s major warships.

Speaking to Shephard at UDT 2016 in Oslo Josh Goodwin, business development manager maritime naval ships, said that the aim for the programme was to establish a fleet level
