T-AGOS class renamed Explorer and new vessels named
The US Navy’s large, fast surveillance vessels have been renamed as a new class.
Orlando-based Serious Simulations LLC has begun work for FAAC Incorporated, on the upgrade for the US Army’s Virtual Clearance Training System (VCTS). As the prime contractor, FAAC has been contracted by the US Army’s Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEOSTRI).
The VCTS simulators are designed to teach route clearance procedures and include simulators that replicate the Buffalo MPCV, the Husky VMMD, the RG-31 and Panther MMPVs, and the Talon MTRS.
Serious Simulations will provide a weapon tracking solution to the fleet of simulators in the VCTS programme. Specifically, the company has developed
