Matrix series projectors now Rockwell Collins
Rockwell Collins has completed the acquisition of Christie Digital Systems’ Matrix series projector product lines, the company announced on 25 February.
The Matrix series of projectors complements Rockwell Collins’ other offerings such as the ProSim ultra contrast projector and EP-8100 image generator.
Under the agreement Rockwell Collins has gained exclusive rights to sell other projection products and associated software tools from Christie in the worldwide simulation and training market segments for military or aviation applications.
Christie will continue to manufacture Rockwell Collins' Matrix SIM and Matrix StIM projectors with Rockwell Collins providing system engineering, integration and service and support for current and future Matrix offerings.
LeAnn Ridgeway, vice president and general manager, simulation and training solutions, Rockwell Collins, said: ‘The acquisition of the Matrix series product line significantly enhances our industry leading offerings for military and aviation simulation and training while giving customers one place to go for a broad range of projector solutions.’
