RNZAF orders P-8 training systems
Boeing has been awarded a $109.16 million firm-fixed-price FMS contract to provide P-8A Poseidon synthetic training equipment for the Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF).
The order comprises one Operational Flight Trainer (OFT) including its Brief/Debrief Station (BDS); one Weapons Tactics Trainer (WTT) and associated BDS; a flight management systems trainer electronic classroom; and one mission systems desktop trainer electronic classroom.
In addition, Boeing is to supply one training system support centre; one scenario generation station; one virtual maintenance trainer; and one maintenance electronic classroom.
Each of the electronic classrooms have the capacity for 10 students.
