Reliance to support Atlantic test ranges
Reliance Test and Technology has received a $78.08 million contract for research, development, test and evaluation (RDT&E), engineering, fleet support and management support services for USN and USMC aircraft at test ranges in the US.
Work includes support for aircraft engineering and developmental flight test and fleet training events run by the Atlantic Ranges and Targets Department.
Reliance will execute the contract at Patuxent River as well as various locations within the continental US. The company is expected to complete the work by December 2030.
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division awarded the contract.
The Atlantic Ranges and Targets Department is responsible for fully instrumented and integrated test ranges that provide full-service support for cradle-to-grave testing and training. This support includes RDT&E of aircraft, and training for aircrew and integrated avionics and mission systems.
