Brunei pushes for more S-70i pilots
The Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAF) currently has 24 qualified pilots for its 12 strong Sikorsky S-70i fleet and is pushing hard to increase that number.
Following the delivery of the last S-70i airframe in late 2015, the RBAF has now moved its training from the FlightSafety International (FSI) Learning Center at West Palm Beach, Florida to the CAE Brunei Multi-Purpose Training Centrein Rimba, Brunei.
FSI has two S-70i simulators in West Palm Beach, one fitted with its Vital 1100 and the other with the company’s Vital X image generator.
