Cubic tailors mortar simulator for the US Army

Textron Systems subsidiary Airborne Tactical Advantage Company (ATAC) has been selected to provide two USAF bases with adversary air (ADAIR) live training under the Combat Air Forces (CAF) Contracted Air Support (CAS) programme.
CAF CAS includes two major training missions: ADAIR and contracted close air support (CCAS).
In October 2019, seven companies were selected for the CAF CAS programme under a $6.4 billion omnibus contract.
The two awards made to the company, worth up to a combined $240 million, will see ATAC provide ADAIR live training to pilots at Luke and Holloman AFBs.
