Kratos to continue AGT for US Air Force
Kratos Defense & Security Solutions has received a task order from KBR Wyle for an additional year of UH-1N aerial gunnery simulation training for the US Air Force at the Kratos Aircrew Training Center (KATC) in Orlando, Florida, the company announced on 8 October.
Kratos has been conducting aerial gunnery training (AGT) for Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC) special mission aviators since the award of IDIQ contract in 2017. This is the second task order issued under that contract.
KATC’s full-mission simulators offer a cost-effective solution by minimising lifecycle expenses associated with simulator ownership while maintaining training quality. AFGSC aircrew members are led by Kratos instructors and train using the latest technologies and simulation systems to ensure mission readiness.
