ITEC 2019: CAE USA Mission Solutions OGC CDB success
CAE has announced that CAE USA’s wholly-owned subsidiary, CAE USA Mission Solutions (MSI), has been awarded a contract by the US Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) to support Open Geospatial Consortium Common Database (OGC CDB) rapid prototyping.
MSI was created in 2018 as a separate business unit that operates under a Proxy Agreement with the US government. This Proxy Agreement enables MSI to pursue and execute US DoD ‘higher-level security programmes’.
Under the terms of the USSOCOM contract, CAE USA MSI will ‘enhance mission readiness’ by helping USSOCOM address challenges with simulation interoperability that are centred on re-usable and rapidly creatable
