ITEC 2018: FlightSafety wins prestigious USN TH-57 contract

FlightSafety Services Corporation has been awarded the US Navy’s TH-57 Contracted Instructional Service (CIS) programme for the TH-57 Sea Ranger training helicopter by the Orlando-based Naval Air Warfare Centre Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD).

The contract will run from 1 May 2018 with options through to 31 Oct 2024.

According to FlightSafety, ‘on average, 70,000 aircraft flight hours produce 500-700 Student Naval Aviators (SNAs) annually, including up to 100 tilt-rotor students. There are 235 days per year programmed for training with active duty flight instructors.
