ITEC 2017: UFA sims accredited by US Army

The US Army's Directorate of Simulation has accredited its UFA Inc ATCoach and ATTower air traffic control (ATC) simulators at Martindale AHP in San Antonio, Texas.

The training devices support operations-based individual radar and tower task training as well as collective radar and tower training. Both simulators are equipped with UFA's ATVoice voice recognition and response capability that teaches the correct ATC communications phraseology during controller-pilot communications and automates the running of training exercises.

UFA Inc has been supplying the US Army with accredited ATC simulators since 1997.
