Dutch simulation specialists VSTEP and international shipyards group Damen have signed a cooperative agreement to produce a NAUTIS full mission bridge simulator (FMBS) for the Royal Bahamas Defence Force (RBDF).
The FMBS delivery is part of the Sandy Bottom Project, which sees the RBDF acquire a range of Damen patrol vessels, notably the Spa 4207 and Spa 3007, upgrade its existing fleet and develop its port and base infrastructure. These vessels will feature Alphatron Marine bridge consoles, navigation and communications equipment.
