ITEC 2017: ATAC gets USN contract

The growing emphasis on the provision of red air adversary/aggressor services seems to have no bounds. With major programmes now running in the US, Canada and UK, and trials soon to start in Australia, this sector is expected to grow significantly over the coming years.

The latest contract to be awarded is in the US where Airborne Tactical Advantage Company (ATAC), part of Textron Airborne Solutions, has received a US$44.6 million indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract from the US Naval Air Systems Command to exercise an option in support of the US Navy's Contracted Air Services (CAS) programme.
