Increasing S-70A, UH-60 training opportunities
FlightSafety International (FSI) is to offer a new Sikorsky S-70A training syllabus at its West Palm Beach Learning Center in Florida. The S-70A is based on the UH-60 Blackhawk.
The new courses are designed to provide a path for FAA type certification and recurrent training on the aircraft.
The FSI course revamp and the announcement by L3 Link Training & Simulation that it is to build a new training centre in Arlington to ‘provide simulation and instruction tools for both military and commercial pilots’ to include the UH-60, marks a growth in training opportunities for the aircraft in the US.
