Lockheed Martin has received a major boost for its Hercules Training Center (HTC) with the award of a not-to-exceed $87 million firm-fixed price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity single contract ‘for a multi-country C-130J aircrew and maintenance simulator training’.

The company will provide C-130J aircrew and maintenance training to support the US government and US Air Force Security Assistance Training international partners' training requirements.

The training will be conducted at Marietta, Georgia, the home of the HTC as well as the C-130J production line, and is expected to be completed by December 2023.  This award is the result of a sole source acquisition.
