Another milestone has recently been reached on the road to achieving a total I-LVC training environment, when for the first time two F-16 simulators from Misawa AFB, Japan were networked to form part of Red Flag Alaska 19-1.
The two simulators are part of 35th Fighter Wing’s F-16 Mission Training Center at Misawa and took part in the exercise along with other live and virtual assets, at the Joint Pacific Alaska Range Complex (JPARC). These live assets also included F-16CM Wild Weasel aircraft of 35th Fighter Wing deployed from Misawa.
