I/ITSEC 2018: Positive year for LMCO’s training business

During a press briefing at I/ITSEC, Lockheed Martin Training and Logistic Solutions’ VP and GM, Amy Gowder told journalists that the past 12 months had been very successful for the business after winning contracts valued at over $5 billion.

Highlights included: ATMP; Air Commando Training and Support; and CCTT Manned Module Modernisation programmes.

‘As well as domestic business, Lockheed Martin TLS has increased its overseas activities and this now represents 43% of our overall business,’ said Gowder.

Gowder also described how the company has reduced simulator costs for the F-35 programme through refining its supply chain, increasing the use
