I/ITSEC 2018: Technology trends (video)

Boeing has used I/ITSEC to unveil details of its T-X Ground Based Training System (GBTS) that is being provided under the terms of the $813 million Engineering & Manufacturing Development (EMD) phase contract that was awarded in September.
EMD calls for the delivery of five aircraft and seven training devices. These comprise: two weapon system trainers, one operational flight trainer (OFT), one unit training device, one part task trainer, one mission support system and one ground support station.
The WSTs and OFT feature Boeing’s Constant Resolution Visual System (CRVS) rear-projection display system.
CRVS will be fitted with ‘JVC 8K resolution
