I/ITSEC 2018: Technology trends (video)
Shephard speaks with business leaders at I/ITSEC 2018 to understand what is motivating and influencing technology trends in the military and simulation market.
Florida-based Aero Simulation Inc (ASI) has been selected to support the 35 flight and maintenance training devices as part of the B-1B Lancer training systems programme.
The devices are deployed to: Dyess Air Force Base (AFB), Texas; Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota; and Sheppard AFB, Texas and comprise weapon systems trainers, mission trainers, cockpit procedures trainers and two maintenance trainers.
ASI said that team members for this, ‘important programme include’ training system support specialists ‘BGI and Rockwell Collins Simulation and Training Solutions’. Together, the ASI team will undertake a number of concurrency upgrades and a technology refresh.
