I/ITSEC 2017: TREX accelerates US DoD simulation and training effort
In an effort to streamline its contracting activity the US Department of Defence (DoD) has contracted the non-profit organisation, National Security Technology Accelerator (NSTXL) to provide assistance in its training and simulation acquisition requirements.
NSTXL was awarded the five year contract in mid-November 2017 by the Army Contracting Command (ACC) in Orlando and will involve the Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI).
The new effort has been named the Training and Readiness Accelerator (TREX).
