Meggitt Training Systems has launched its new immersive, multi-screen FATS 300 system at I/ITSEC 2017. The system is designed to provide an immersive training environment to support marksmanship, judgemental and collective training.
The new virtual small arms trainer (VSAT) features five flat 16ft x 9ft screens to provide a 300° horizontal field of view. It also includes a 5.1 surround sound audio system that generates additional realism through directional sound effects.
