I/ITSEC 2017: Barco on MCAT plus new projector
Following the award of the Marine Common Aircrew Trainers (MCAT) contract to Kratos Defense & Security Solutions in September last year, it has emerged that the display solution integration is being managed by RPA Electronic Solutions and will feature Barco’s F70-4K6 UHD laser phosphor projectors.
The image generator selected for MCAT is the Aechelon Technology PC-Nova that will be used to create multi-channel out the window displays as well as sensor images. The company said that, ‘it will also provide high fidelity multi-spectral visual databases and 3D moving models.’
