The Swedish Navy is to receive a Naval Warfare Training System (NWTS) from CAE in early 2016.
The company is demonstrating its Naval Tactical Mission Trainer (TMT), which will be part of the NWTS delivered to Sweden, at I/ITSEC.
The company is going to deliver approximately 40 training consoles following development of the units from its original prototype.
‘Originally they only wanted one screen,’ said Mark Richardson, training systems engineer lead at CAE, ‘but then it changed that they may want to fit another screen in the future so we have added a removable panel for this.’
